The project deals with experimental research into natural convection heat transfer in the vicinity of heated bodies with diverse surface profiling. The use of simulation methods in modelling transfer phenomena is also part of the project. After positive verification of calculations modelling may be used for optimizing heat exchange surfaces. Influence of selected factors on the accuracy of determination of temperature field distribution and, consequently, heat transfer parameters will be investigated. Detailed distribution of the heat transfer parameters is inevitable to optimize different heat exchange areas.
