Research into reduction of negative effects of forest machinery on forest environment, with determination of technical parameters of forest machines, in processing of forest biomass.

The project deals with integrated technical and ecological research into the fild of reducing the negative effects of forest machinery on forest environment in production processes in forestry. The solution of the project is aimed at theoretical analysis and experimental verification of application of the biodegradable energy transmitters in hydraulic systems of mobile machines in forestry. It is the research into mutual dependencies between travel gear of mobile forest machinery and soil from ecological and energetic viewpoint. It is the research into forest attachments at wood and biomass processing, with the aim to determine their optimum parameters. To determine the cutting force, the cutting edge life, and the tool life, as well as to suppress the noise and vibrations generated in the system machine -- tool -- work object (workpiece).
