The quality of planting stock and technology of outplanting are determining for its successful adaptation. Application of microbial additives (bacteria, ectomycorrhizal and antagonistic fungi) in planting of reproductive material can be regarded as a tool for improvement of quality and mitigation of growth stress. Utilization of vegetative or containerized seedlings, term of outplanting, stress factors etc. appear to be important factors in seedling outplanting. Aim of the project is to obtain new scientific knowledge about influence of abovementioned and other factors on complex, especially physiological quality and adaptability of Norway spruce, European beech and Scots pine planting stock.
