The project is focussed on the anthropogenic changes of species composition and diversity in temperate
deciduous forests -- the most spread biome of the Central Europe. Particularly, the project investigates temporal
changes in the lowland oak and oak-hornbeam dominated forests, which are most affected by recent
environmental and management changes. The project is based on the data from permanent plots resampling.
The previous management will be reconstructed using dendrochronological methods.
