A comprehensive model of wood chain comparative advantages

The main purpose of the project is to analyse the competitiveness of wood processing chain from perspective of the renewable resources utilisation. Based on analysis of the current situation of the WPI in the Slovak Republic and its position on European markets, the project considers above mentioned issue at different levels. The first level is oriented on international market, next part deals with competitiveness of WPI sector on the national level and the last level analyses competitiveness of representative wood commodities. Competitiveness model of the different wood commodities focuses on three stages of wood supply chain. The outputs of the research are different WPI competitiveness models and models of selected commodities.
