The objective of this project grounds in using of new modern methods of ground surface and subsurface investigation for the purpose of bringing new knowledge about the hydrological processes in man-managed forested catchments and utilization of this new knowledge in applied forestry. The research will be based on utilization of modern shallow geophysical methods (electrical resistivity tomography and georadar scanning) in combination with classical methods of hydro-pedological research in prediction of catchment locations and areas endangered by abundant upslope water transport paths and soil matter destabilization (slope failures).
