Ultra-low Energy Green Building Based on Renewable Wood Material

Construction of projects with almost zero-energy consumption that will become a necessity after the year 2020 as well as introduction of a complex environmental assessment of structures will probably cause an increased demand for scientific knowledge and specific technological solutions of so called green constructions. The projects should reflect these needs, mainly in the field of construction of low energy building envelope based on theoretical knowledge as well as experiments, focusing on strategic renewable resource – wood. New constructions, construction composition and technologies which have not been verified experimentally yet, should be based on research, analyses, laboratory testing, and in situ measurements.
