Identifying traces of traditional management in current landscape

The project focused on the identification of old trees in historic horizons of the landscape (1840, 1937) and in the current landscape (2010) in relation to land use. We did georectification of historic maps, historic aerial photos to current ortho-photomaps. We identified old trees in the field in selected cadastral areas (Orlické hory Mts. and Tachovsko) and we compared them within historical aerial photos. We compared land use changes in the parcels with old trees in specified time horizons.
