Progressive methods in teaching of forestry geodesy and mapping.

Teaching of Geodesy and Photogrammetry at the Faculty of Forestry has a long tradition and reflects the current state in field of forest mapping. Thanks to the study program Geoinformation and mapping techniques, the possibility of a study in this area has, due to subjects like geodetic fundamentals and systems, cadastre of realty and digital photogrammetry. In order to improve the study we consider as necessary to add the possibility of electronic access to study materials in the form of an Internet source and creation of the guides, from which some are still only in the form of the PowerPoint presentations. Students will obtain the opportunity to gain further current knowledge. Linked to this is the provision of some basic study aids for practical excercises.
