Building Wood Collections and Microscopic Slides of Exotic and Central European Wood Species to Be Used within the English-taught Course Wood Anatomy

This project aims at creating and building collections of commercial exotic woods as well as at the innovation of microscopic collections that contain wood from wood species of Central European commercial origin.
The project outcomes will be the complex collections consisting of macroscopic samples and microscopic slides from commercial exotic woods as well as macroscopic samples and microscopic slides from woods of Central European origin. These collections will be accompanied by publishing of a bilingual manual "Identification of Wood from Exotic and Central European Commercial Woody Plants".
The completion of the above-mentioned collections will be used to provide practical training within the university course "Wood Anatomy",
